Council has resolved to keep the Public Forum at Council meetings and create a new opportunity for the community to address Councillors and senior staff at a workshop every three weeks.

Council, at its Meeting held on 22 January 2007, resolved to advertise proposed changes to its Code of Meeting Practice in relation to the existing guidelines for addressing Council in relation to Public Forums.

The changes relate to the Public Forum held at the Ordinary Council Meeting and the new Workshop Forum proposed to be held on the Monday prior to the Ordinary Council Meeting.

Residents are invited to view the proposed changes and make any submissions, in writing, by close of business on Wednesday, 28 February 2007.

For any further enquiries, please contact Neil Porter on telephone 6581 8111.
