After considering submissions from the community, Port Macquarie – Hastings Council has adopted the Glasshouse venue hire charges and conditions.

The overriding principles observed in setting the hire fees for the Glasshouse were equity and community access.

For-profit users will pay a competitive, but full commercial price, where schools and community groups are heavily subsidised.

Not only will the Glasshouse be a high quality venue for local performers, it will allow locals to see performances and exhibitions they would have previously travelled to Newcastle, Sydney or Brisbane to see.
